Breeding

Our goal is to improve our cattle and farm one calf at a time and one step at a time, and enjoying every minute of the hard work. Practicing a herd health program, performance nutrition and breeding to performance bulls in the breed have allowed the farm to capitlize on raising and selling top notch livestock. We have accomplished this with the help of our friends, Dr. Ted Katsigianis of Biltmore Estate creating a good foundation herd.

Jo has started to do the artificial breeding for the farm. We have used some top name bulls such as OCC Prototype and Sinclair Net Present Value . Our herd sire is a son of Sitz Alliance 6595. Show heifers are always available and have performed well at the Dixie Classic Fair and the NC State Fair, with many winning best in class and reserve grand champions.
